In the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan.

I saw this movie recently and loved it! It had some great acting, a great feel and story. One of very few Marvel films that feels like it was taken right out of the pages of a comic book, which live action adaptations don't normally do a good job of doing.

It was good but not as good as I had hoped. My buddy Rocket stole the show! I think the second one will show Star Lord's father. At least I hope.

Is this movie really that good? It looks ok but I'm not into Marvel movies that much.

YES! It really is one of the best Marvel films ever made. You should definitely go see it.
